Nanaimo Concert Band

~ the Spring Concert April 23, 2017 at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo

This was a lot of fun.

They played some marches, Star Trek theme, a Nfld love song from one of the members of the flute section.

An award to a member who had 70+ years of service to the band!

Can't believe it, that's incredible today.

The audience was much appreciative, and it was a wonderful and inexpensive way to pass a Sunday afternoon

Chance to see the ballet company based in Victoria at the Sid Williams (where else?)

What a fabulous event, seats were filled with local dance students, as well as old fogies like myself.

Reminded me of the days when daughter Julie danced her way through high school and beyond.
