~ at the movies...
during birthday week, Mom and I went over to the Rialto for an afternoon showing of this Meryl Streep film. She's one of Moms favs.
Also starring Hugh Grant. I was pleasantly surprised here. Very touching the relationship between Florence (Bunny as he called her) and her husband.
The part of the pianist Cosmos, played by Simon Helberg, was very well acted and deserves recognition by the powers that do that sort of thing.
I heard Meryl interview on Fresh Air about this movie.. it was so interesting! Hearing about her process trying to get the vocals "right" sounded so difficult, especially since Meryl is a great singer. This woman sounds like she led a very interesting life. Would like to see the movie! Glad you and Nanny got to see it!!!
